Cinderella marked the beginning of an incredible journey for One For All Musical Theater.
Presented in March 2018 at the beautiful Salvation Army Kroc Center Theater in Omaha, Nebraska, this all-original musical introduced audiences to an organization with a bold vision—to create high-quality musical theater that welcomed performers of all ages while building lasting friendships, strengthening faith, and serving the community through the performing arts.
From the opening scene to the final curtain call, Cinderella combined beautiful music, colorful costumes, live orchestral accompaniment, and heartfelt performances into a production that delighted audiences and established the foundation for everything that followed.
Every great story begins with a dream.
For One For All Musical Theater, that dream became reality through an original retelling of one of the world’s most beloved fairy tales. Featuring memorable characters, imaginative staging, beautiful choreography, and live music, Cinderella demonstrated that community theater could deliver a truly magical experience.
Audience members praised everything from the stunning costumes and original score to the warmth, humor, and creativity that filled the stage—encouragement that inspired the organization to continue producing original musicals in the years ahead.
While Cinderella introduced audiences to a familiar story, it also introduced the community to something entirely new.
This first production brought together performers, musicians, volunteers, families, and supporters who believed in creating a place where everyone could belong. Young children shared the stage with experienced performers, friendships were formed behind the scenes, and a vision for a new musical theater organization became a reality.
Looking back, Cinderella wasn’t simply the first production—it was the first chapter in a story that continues to grow with every new performance.
Every production begins long before the audience takes their seats.
These photographs capture the rehearsals, costume fittings, set construction, orchestra preparations, and unforgettable moments that brought Cinderella to life. They also preserve the excitement of an organization discovering what was possible when talented performers, dedicated volunteers, and supportive families worked together toward a common goal.
Looking through these images today, it’s easy to see more than a production—you can see the beginning of a community.
